Biography

Born in Thessaloniki in 1983. In 2001 she graduated from the 2nd Anatolia General Lyceum and was admitted to the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which she graduated in 2007. In the same year she was accepted onto the postgraduate programme in Periodontology and Implant Biology at the School of Dentistry of A.U.Th. In 2010 she completed her dissertation, entitled "The effect of the type of connection between the implant and the transmucosal healing abutment on the preservation of the crestal peri-implant bone: A clinical, radiographic, microbiological and immunological study of two different systems with an internal-type implant - transmucosal abutment connection", and obtained the postgraduate Specialisation degree in Periodontology and Implant Biology with a grade of "Excellent" 9.02. She is a member of the Hellenic Society of Periodontology. She has taken part in a series of Conferences and Seminars both in Greece and abroad, has published her studies in international scientific journals and writes articles for Thessaloniki newspapers. Since 2010 she has run a private practice in the centre of Thessaloniki; since 2011 she has been a scientific associate at the Undergraduate Clinic of Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology and Implant Biology at the School of Dentistry of A.U.Th.; and since 2012 she has been a member of the Board of the Dental Association of Thessaloniki and of the General Assembly of the Hellenic Dental Federation.
